Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients:


Yogurt / Curd - 1 cup
Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu - 2 tblspn
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Water - 1 cup

For Grinding:
Green Chilli - 2
Ginger - 4 cm piece

For Seasoning:
Oil - 2 tblspn
Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
Cinnamon / Pattai - 3 cm piece
Cloves / Krambu - 3
Dry Red Chillies - 2 broken
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi - 1/4 tsp

Method:

Take green chilli and ginger in a blender and puree till smooth.

Take yogurt, gram flour, the puree and whisk well. Add water and whisk well.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add all seasoning ingredients and let it sizzle.

Add in yogurt mix and bring it to a boil. Boil it for 2 to 3 mins.

Add in salt, sugar and mix well.

Add in coriander leaves and mix well.

Serve.
